This site is dedicated to informing about my professional development.
A long time before I took up working as an IT service freelancer towards the end of my studies, people predicted I would one day work in that space. From the early eighties onwards I had been interested in information technology, that being a time when given a computer you would inevitably learn how to program it as there was little else you could do with it.
Nevertheless, I started to study history and literary criticism out of conviction - partly out of the very specific convition that technology can be a very fascninating means to an end, but never an end in itself.
Up until now this has proven to be a rather valid idea, helpful as much for designing solution architectures as for building long-term customer relationships.
Of couse it is also the measure for this site. According to its purpose it presents information about my education, curriculum vitae, and my career up until today. Part of that is freely available for anybody to see, other parts are not and I would ask for your understanding.
